Biography

Darina Kopcok is a freelance food photographer based in Vancouver. Her work has appeared in a variety of online and print publications such as The Globe & Mail, Vancouver
Magazine, and Montecristo.

Darina has a Master’s of Fine Arts and studied photography at Langara College, with an emphasis on food, product, and still life photography. She draws heavily on her fine art training to create evocative images with a distinct sense of mood and place.

Her work includes projects for notable brands such as Hardbite Chips, Empress Gin, and Wild Coast Fruit.

Darina’s teaches photography at the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts and is the creator behind the food photography education site gastrostoria.com
