CRESTON FRIENDS a call for support!
We are looking for some locals to help us out with a few needs:
We are looking for a few good folks to help us with some event set up / clean up tasks from Thursday Nov 2 through to end of the night Saturday Nov 4th. We are open to help for 2-4 hour windows and if your helping during a meal time, we’d love to feed you too!
If you live near Creston and have some availability these days / hours below please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to scheduled a shift or two, let us know what shifts you can help!
Thursday | Decoration and set up shifts ( 2-4 pm + 5-7 pm)
Friday – AM | Kitchen Support (8-11am)
Friday – Mid day | Kitchen Support (11-2 pm)
Friday – PM | General Support (4-7pm)
Saturday – AM | Kitchen Support (8-11am)
Saturday – Mid day | Clean up Support (2-6 pm)
Saturday – PM | Dinner support (5-8 pm)
Since this year’s event is all about community collaboration, we thought ‘What better time to implement a billeting option for this years event’ . What better way to build relationships, reduce barriers and make for a fun weekend than opening your doors to a fellow Basin Foodie. As event organizer’s we won’t be managing this ourselves, though we thought we could create a small discussion group in our facebook page. Those with space can post and those looking for a space to reach out. As we all know, travelling across the Basin is no small feat, so let’s see if we can make the experience a little easier for some of us.
